(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang says that Vietnam treasures trade cooperation with the US, suggesting that both sides candidly address issues of mutual concern. Sang was speaking at a reception in Hanoi on Wednesday for Alexander Feldman, President of the US-ASEAN Business Council, who is leading a delegation of American business people in Vietnam. President Sang promised favorable conditions for American businesses to invest effectively in Vietnam. He said both sides need to discuss the delayed projects and learn lessons from them. Sang expressed his hope that American businesses would expand trade promotion with their Vietnamese partners to boost ties between the two countries. Feldman said in the near future, companies of both countries would cooperate in the areas machinery and equipment supply.
