(VOVworld) – As part of his visit to Ukraine, National Assembly Vice Chairman Huynh Ngoc Son on Thursday met with First Deputy Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament Ihor Kaletnik.

Kaletnik said at the meeting that the two countries should continue to exchange high-ranking delegations and share experiences in legislation.

Vice Chairman Son praised Ukraine’s development in recent years and expressed his delight at the growth of cooperative relations in all fields between the two nations. Son said he believes the visit will make practical contributions to opening new cooperative prospects. So said:

The Vietnamese National Assembly appreciates the development of relations between the two countries and legislative bodies. The exchange of visits and delegations has created mutual understanding and trust. Vietnam and Ukraine have attached much importance to cooperation in international organizations and multilateral forums. Both have offered mutual support yet it’s still limited compared to the two nations’ potential, especially in trade and investment.

Earlier, Son met with Director of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Vladimir Litvin and the Group of Ukrainian friendship parliamentarians with Vietnam.
