Vietnam, US organizations discuss post-war consquence settlement
(VOVWORLD) - Vice President of the Vietnam-US Society (VUS) Bui The Giang said that Vietnam has worked with international organizations to settle post-war consequences.

He made this statement during a reception for a delegation of the US Fund for Reconciliation and Development led by its director John Francis McAuliff in Hanoi on Wednesday. Mr. Giang added that the settlement will help consolidate the trust and promote friendship between the Vietnamese and American people in the future.
Mr. McAuliff said the trip helped delegation members get update on Vietnam and the US – Vietnam relations’ development.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed post-war consequence settlement, search for remains of missing-in-action US servicemen in Vietnam, and Vietnam’s people-to-people diplomacy.
