Ms. Hang said: "The Vietnamese government has promoted safe and orderly legal migration and at the same time resolutely fight against illegal migration and human trafficking. Vietnam is realizing the goal of the global agreement on safe and orderly legal migration in order to ensure a transparent migration environment, protect the legitimate rights and interests of migrants, and prevent human trafficking in international migration. Vietnam acknowledges the US for its more positive assessment in the 2023 Trafficking in Person Report. Vietnam wants the two countries to work closely so that the US will make accurate and objective about Vietnam’s efforts and reality."
