Vietnam welcomes first foreign visitors in 2020
(VOVWORLD) - Major cities across Vietnam have welcomed a large number of foreign visitors who chose Vietnam as their destination on the first day of 2020.

The capital city of Hanoi treated its very first international visitor in the new year, Alain Baron from France, and other passengers on board a Vietnam Airlines flight that landed at 6 a.m. on Wednesday to a special ceremony featuring multiple cultural activities.
The first foreign visitors to HCM city in 2020 were offered free round-trip tickets by Vietnam Airlines and Japan Airlines as well as free city tours.
Passengers on board Qatar Airways flight QR966, which landed at Da Nang international airport at 7 a.m., were welcomed with a lion dance and musical performance.
