(VOVworld) – Malaysia’s Boeing 777-200 coded MH370 with 239 passengers on boards on route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing has gone missing. Its signal was lost at 17:21 (UTC) on Saturday at the coordinate 06 0 56’N-103 o 35E in Malaysia’s waters, 120 nautical miles off the coast of Vietnam’s Ca Mau province. Malaysia has sent its aircraft to search and rescue the missing plane. Vietnam’s anti-aircraft and air defense force said it is willing to join search and rescue efforts. Vietnam’s Center for Search and Rescue at Sea has informed nearby vessels to join these efforts. Vietnam's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Le Hai Binh said that Vietnam sympathizes with the worries of the victim families. He added that upon receiving news about the incident, relevant Vietnamese agencies have cooperated with parties concerned to deploy search and rescue activities.
