Vietnam wins first gold medal on 4th day of ASIAD 2018

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam won 1 gold, 4 silver, and 7 bronze medals at the Asian Games 2018 as of 3pm Thursday to stand 13th of 45 participating countries and territories.

Vietnamese female rowing team brought the first gold medal for Vietnam on Thursday, the 4th day of ASIAD. Vietnam’s 11-member tennis team will travel to Jakarta, where the Vietnamese athletes will also compete in swimming, archery, basketball, biking, fencing, football, gymnastics, taekwondo, pencak silat, golf, volleyball, and wushu. The bowling, rowing, rugby, shooting, tennis, and beach volleyball teams will compete in the nearby Indonesian city of Palembang.
