Vietnam-Algeria friendship keeps moving forward

(VOVworld) – The friendship between Vietnam and Algeria needs to be further strengthened, said spokesperson for Algeria’s ruling National Liberation Front (FLN) Said Bouhedja.

He told a Vietnam News Agency reporter this week that Algeria will join Vietnam in its major celebrations this year to demonstrate its solidarity with Vietnam.

Algerians have stood side by side with the Vietnamese in past struggles for national liberation as well as during Vietnam’s current construction and development.

Said called for greater Vietnamese support for people like the Palestinians who are seeking independence and deeper involvement in maintaining world peace.

Said suggested all-round cooperation and friendship between the two governments, parliaments, civil organizations, and youth to help the two nations raise their international status and ensure equality and freedom for their peoples.
