He made the remarks at a meeting with General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and President of China Xi Jinping in Hanoi on Thursday. 

Chinese President Xi Jinping said Vietnam and China are consistently under the leadership of the Communist Parties and following the path of socialism. They have consolidated their unity for the benefit of their two peoples, and the peace, stability, and development of the region and the world.
