(VOVworld) – The overseas Vietnamese people in Laos on Sunday organized a ceremony to celebrate 8 years of operation of the fellow-countrymen club in Xiangkhouang province.

Participants recalled their hard days under the shelter of the Lao people. Living in Laos and enjoying Lao citizenship, the club members still contribute to building bridges of strong bilateral ties. Open every Friday night, the club conducts Vietnamese cultural activities which foster friendship between Laos and Vietnam.
