(VOVworld) - Vietnam is determined to strengthen its relations with Cambodia on the basis of good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation and long-term stability.

During talks on the sidelines of the 9th Summit of the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Development Triangle Area in Siem Reap on Wednesday, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his Cambodian counterpart Hunsen agreed on measures to promote bilateral ties in all fields and an early completion of border demarcation for peace, friendship and economic development. Prime Minister Phuc asked for the Cambodian government’s support in facilitating Vietnamese people in Cambodia in their legal and economic aspects. They agreed to cooperate closely on the celebration of the 50^th anniversary of diplomatic ties next year and will co-chair the inauguration ceremony of Long Binh bridge between An Giang and Chrey Thom in early 2017.
