(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese Embassy in Laos burned incense and laid wreaths on Sunday at a monument to war martyrs of Vietnam-Lao joint forces in Con hamlet, Phonhong district, in Laos’ Vientiane province. This is part of annual activities paying tribute to war martyrs who died for the independence and freedom of Laos and Vietnam. In addition to embassy staff, the ceremony was attended by representatives of Laos’ war veterans association, local authorities, and overseas Vietnamese in Laos.
