Vietnamese, Cuban women’s organizations to enhance ties
(VOVWORLD) - Women’s organizations of Vietnam and Cuba are urged to enhance their cooperation to fulfill a variety of tasks, including bringing signed agreements to fruition and promoting collaboration on international forums.
 The meeting takes place in Hanoi on November 1, 2018.

Head of the Mass Mobilization Commission of the Party Central Committee Truong Thi Mai made the remarks while receiving Teresa Maria, Secretary General of the Cuban Women’s Federation in Hanoi on Thursday. Ms. Mai, who is also Chairwoman of the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association, highlighted the two countries’ friendship and cooperation, calling them invaluable assets for one other, both in sense of Party and country. Ms. Teresa Maria reiterated that the Federation will closely coordinate with the Vietnam Women’s Union in implementing signed agreements of the two sides at all levels, thus contributing to promoting the special relations and solidarity between Vietnam and Cuba.
