Vietnamese enterprises invest in community development in Cambodia

(VOVworld)-Heath workers of Hoang Anh Gia Lai group have provided health check and medicines to 1,500 people in Cambodian province of Rattakiri. This is the beginning of a program to ensure sustainable community development in the area with a cost of 10 million dollars by 2016. Chhum Sokhum is a local hamlet chief: “I am pleased to welcome the Vietnamese delegation of health workers to provide health service and medicines to local people. Vietnam and Cambodia have always united and helped each other. I expect Vietnamese businesses to support local people in employment and living standards.”

The community program includes building schools, clinics, road and scholarship grants to local students.
