At a reception in Hanoi on Tuesday for Professor Andreas Hauskrecht, a public finance expert at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, Mr. Hue said PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc wants opinions from his economic consulting group, experts from the Vietnam Initiative, and scientists in order to continue refining Vietnam’s macro-economic policy.

Mr. Hue thanked Professor Hauskrecht for working closely with Vietnamese agencies to share information, analyze the current economic situation, and give policy recommendations to the Vietnamese government.

Mr. Hue asked Professor Hauskrecht to continue assisting Vietnamese agencies in the near future, particularly by sharing information and his experience in the US financial management system and connecting Vietnam with US experts and the world’s leading think-tanks.
