Vietnamese, Mongolian Presidents agree major measures for further comprehensive cooperation

In his address, President Thuong affirmed that Vietnam always values and is ready to strengthen practical, effective, and comprehensive cooperation with Mongolia.

“The Mongolian President and I had very successful talks. We agreed on major directions and measures to further promote practical, effective, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, and discussed international and regional issues, toward establishing a new framework for bilateral relations,” said Mr. Thuong.

As a close friend, Vietnam supports the cause of national development of the Mongolian people, the Vietnamese leader said, adding he believes that under the leadership of President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, Mongolia will successfully implement the strategic goals of ‘Vision 2050’, and reap even greater achievements in national development toward a prosperous country, happy people, and rising position and prestige in the international arena.”

Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh affirmed that the solid foundation of the friendly relationship laid by predecessor leaders has overcome the challenges of time and is increasingly consolidated. He said he believes his trip to Vietnam will motivate further bilateral cooperation and open up prospects for further development of the traditional friendship between the two countries in the coming time.
