At the Vietnam-Japan Agriculture Business Forum held on Wednesday, participants focused on how to make full use of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership. Other topics were incentives for investors in Vietnam’s agriculture sector. The forum discussed regulations for accessing the Japanese market, import procedures, regulations on food hygiene, administration, and lists of Japanese wholesalers and retailers, analyzed Japan’s trade and investment in Vietnam’s agriculture and food processing sectors, and proposed measures to support the sale of Vietnamese agricultural products through the AEON supermarket chain.
