Vietnam-Republic of Korea technology incubator inaugurated

(VOVworld) – A Vietnam-Republic of Korea technology incubator was inaugurated in Can Tho city on Saturday. The 20 million USD project is aimed at establishing a cooperative mechanism for industrial development between state management agencies and institutes, universities, research centers, businesses, and individuals. It was built also to encourage businesses to research and develop high-tech products to serve the development of the Mekong river delta. In his address, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan said: “The technology incubator is located in Can Tho, Vietnam’s biggest food and fruit growing center. It will help to increase Vietnam’s agricultural value and the income of people in the Mekong river delta.”

The incubator is part of a cooperative program in economics, trade, and investment between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea in 2015.
