Tea produced in Phu Tho has met the international standard called Rain Forest

Vietnam has been named as a role model for agricultural development in developing countries during the symposium entitled “A new vision for agriculture” in Davos, Switzerland. Addressing the meeting under the framework of the 42nd World Economic Forum, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat highlighted the activities of 5 working groups on tea, coffee, vegetables, seafood and general products, and experiences of Vietnam in implementing these activities. He said all working groups have managed to apply new technological advances and food hygiene standards. The success of these groups have resulted in increasing the values of the Vietnamese products, improving the living conditions of farmers and ensuring sustainable development.
