Vietnam's marine tourism to welcome 22 million foreign visitors by 2020
(VOVWORLD) -The Strategy on Sea and Island Economy predicts that Vietnam will attract 22 million foreign tourists and 58 million domestic tourists, earning 8.6 billion USD by 2020.

Nguyen Anh Tuan, Director of the Institute for Tourism Development, said local authorities need to make greater efforts to promote Vietnam’s sea and islands.
“Each locality has its own advantages: natural scenery, ecological values, and coastal culture. If we are able to fully tap these potentials, in addition to organizing tourism events in coastal areas, we will create distinctive tourism products to attract more visitors,” Tuan said.
