Vinh Long urged to lead provinces in next decade
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has urged the Mekong Delta province of Vinh Long to quadruple local people’s incomes to become one of the most dynamic localities in Vietnam within the next decade.

At an investment promotion conference in Vinh Long on Tuesday, Mr Phuc suggested that the province adopt a sustainable development model, which should be adaptable to climate change and focuses on eco-tourism and smart agriculture. He asked Vinh Long to create a strong link between farmers, state agencies, bankers, scientists, and distributers to secure sustainable growth. The conference attracted 800 domestic and foreign delegates.
