VN’s Permanent Mission inaugurates new headquarters in Geneva

(VOVworld) - Deputy PM Vu Van Ninh cut the ribbons to inaugurate the new headquarters of Vietnam’s Permanent Mission to the UN and other international organizations in Geneva, Switzerland on Wednesday.

Addressing the function, Mr. Ninh reiterated Vietnam’s stance to pursue the policy of peace, national independence, multilateral diversification of international relations, and active international integration to achieve “rich people, a strong country, and a fair and civilized society.”

He said that the overseas Vietnamese community is an inseparable part of the Vietnamese nation. Thus, the Vietnamese Party and Government highly value the great contributions of overseas Vietnamese to national development and always attach importance to the community, including those living in Switzerland.

The new headquarters is located next to the former office, serving the operation of Permanent Mission staff.
