VOV hosts art exchange on national border defense
(VOVWORLD) - The Voice of Vietnam hosted an art exchange to mark the 40th anniversary of the northern border defense war in 1979 and praise patriotism, the peace-loving spirit, and Vietnam’s friendly relationship with other countries, particularly its neighbours.

Participants discussed VOV’s contribution and paid tribute to those who engaged in the northern border defense war.
VOV’s Former Vice President Nguyen Thi Kim Cuc recalled the time when she was in Lao Cai province to cover Vietnam’s border defense struggle. “We witnessed the soldiers’ bravery and determination to defend every meter of their homeland. Their actions encouraged us to overcome the hardships and dangers to fulfil our mission to honestly cover the war.”
VOV broadcasted articles and songs to encourage the fighting spirit of soldiers and ordinary people and praise VN’s aspiration for a better life of independence and freedom.
