(VOVworld) - The Radio Image Broadcasting Channel, has been officially renamed the Voice of Vietnam Television Channel (VOVTV) under a license signed on Thursday by the Ministry of Information and Communication. The TV channel, with its logo of VOV, has been designated with functions. It disseminates information on Party and State guidelines, policies and laws, and is a forum of the people. The Channel is a general information channel reporting news, current affairs, economics, culture, and social issues contributing to expanding public knowledge and improving people’s choice of information. The channel broadcasts 24 hours a day on analog, cable, and terrestrial digital networks, and via the Internet and mobile phones.
