(VOVWORLD) - VOV’s Traffic channel has proved to be Vietnam’s best traffic information channel since it was established 10 years ago, said Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh at an event in Hanoi on Monday to celebrate the channel’s 10th anniversary.

The channel helps reduce traffic congestion, supports commuters and traffic management agencies, and updates listeners on the socio-economic situation, Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh said.
"VOV’s Traffic channel needs to steadily improve its content, creativity, and performance to attract more listeners. It needs to expand its coverage, cooperate with other communication agencies, boost interaction with listeners, and improve its staff quality to make the channel a reliable friend of every commuter," Mr. Binh noted.
VOV President Nguyen The Ky asked the Traffic channel to do its best to cater to a wider audience.
