(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations has held its third patriotic emulation congress in Hanoi to review the emulation movements’ successful implementation of political tasks, and people’s diplomacy in the new period.

Besides promoting Vietnam’s image to the world, the Union has been very active in humanitarian activities, poverty reduction, environmental protection, support the Agent Orange/ dioxin victims, and promoting cooperation in economics, and trade, science, technology, culture, and education.
