Website on social security debuted

(VOVworld) - A website on social security was launched on Tuesday with the aim of connecting benefactors with poor and disabled people. The website: http://ansinhxahoi.thanhgiong.vn outlines Vietnam’s policies on social welfare, provides information about related activities across the country and calls on the community to support orphans, disabled youth, Agent Orange victims and outstanding low-income students.  Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Federation which runs the website said: "The website not only serves as an information channel but also organizes volunteer campaigns. It calls for more community development activities including building houses for the poor, bridges and schools in rural and remote areas".
At the launching ceremony, the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs' Association promised to build boarding houses for pupils in remote areas and give scholarships for poor students.
