(VOVWORLD) - The US is planning for a summit between President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday that US Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman is in Washington helping arrange the meeting, which aims to resolve differences on issues including Syria, Ukraine, and nuclear arms control. The meeting would be the 3rd between the two leaders since President Trump took office.
