WIPO supports disability empowerment, cultural preservation in Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) - The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has praised Kymviet Space, a Vietnamese handicraft production and trading company established by people with disabilities to create jobs for people with disabilities.

An article posted on the homepage of WIPO said the company intends to create more employment opportunities for people with disabilities in Vietnam and open a professional vocational training center for them along with promoting Vietnamese culture to the world.

A WIPO brand expert is working with the company to develop its international brand and other intangible assets.

The article also mentioned the three pillars of Kymviet’s business operation and activities, namely handmade products, its cafés, and education.

WIPO quoted Kymviet’s leader confirming the firm’s mission is to provide jobs to people with disabilities and empower them to fulfill their potential.
