Workers on the 100-kilometer Hanoi – Hai Phong highway project are rushing to inaugurate the highway as soon as possible. Officials at the Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant have been on guard 24 hours a day to ensure its operational stability. Customs clearance takes place as usual at ports and border gates. Approximately 1,000 people are passing through the international border gates in Lang Son province every day. Hoang Khanh Hoa is Head of the Lang Son Customs Department: “These days, goods exchange has decreased because China is on holiday but the number of tourists has increased. Officials have been on duty 24 hours a day to complete customs procedures for exporters, importers, and tourists.”
