Workshop discusses draft law on cyber security
(VOVWORLD) -The draft law on cyber security, which received comments by deputies at the 4th session of the 14th National Assembly, was discussed at a workshop in Hanoi on Wednesday.
Delegates at the meeting, hosted by the National Assembly’s Committee on National Defense and Security, highlighted overlapping and conflicting points between the draft law and the Law on Cyber Information Safety. Nguyen Trong Thai of the Ministry of National Defense held that the draft law should stipulate tighter management to deal with widespread abuse of cyber space. Other opinions said the draft law should state measures to prevent sophisticated cyber crimes.
