Worldwide Arms Museum opened in Ba Ria-Vung Tau

(VOVworld) - Worldwide Arms Museum, the first private weapon museum in Vietnam, was opened in the southern coastal city of Vung Tau on Thursday.

The museum is owned by Robert Taylor, a British national whose wife is Vietnamese. The man has lived in the city since 1991. On display at the museum are over 2,000 items ranging from guns and swords to army uniforms dating back to between the 17th and 20th century. They originate from nations around the world such as the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Russia, Japan and the Netherlands. More than 500 weapons and army uniforms will be exhibited at the museum, Taylor said. It is open to the public from 8:00 am to 18:00 pm daily.
