Young entrepreneurs urged to lead economic development

600 delegates are gathering in Hanoi for the 4th National Congress of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc stressed the essential role of young businesspeople in socio-economic development and international integration while calling on them to be the vanguard in the economic front. “We have witnessed the dramatic development of young entrepreneurs. With patriotism, national pride, dynamism and creativity, they have risen to all challenges, contributing to national growth,” he said.

The Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association currently has 9,000 members, who generate a combined revenue of 25 billion USD a year and create 1.5 millions jobs.
