Thailand has received 4 yellow cards so far. Theerathon will be suspended for the Thailand-Malaysia match. But, Tristan and Tanaboon are at risk of being unable to play in the Vietnam-Thailand match if they receive a second yellow card on November 14.

Siamsport quoted Nishino as saying: “Actually, I’m not afraid of that. What we need to worry about now is how to create some offense. Thailand is ready to fix its weaknesses now.”

“Malaysia has worse humidity than Thailand. The long grass on the pitch will affect the players’ performance. That's what we have to adapt to quickly," said Nishino.

Vietnam is at risk of not having Doan Van Hau, Do Duy Manh, or Nguyen Trong Hoang in the match against Thailand if any of the three receives a yellow card in their match against the UAE on November 14.

Nishino will most likely replace Theerathon with Sasalak Haiprakhon in the game with Malaysia. Sasalak said: "I think I still need to improve and learn from the seniors. Whenever Chanathip Songkrasin and Theerathon play, they make Thailand more competent. I can play on both wings, but I prefer playing left back ".

On November 11, the Thailand team flew to Malaysia and held a training session to prepare for the match at Bukit Jalil. Before the session, Chanathip said: "At the moment, I still feel a bit tired, but nothing serious. I have confidence in the tactics of the coach and the whole team. We will continue to win even though Malaysia has a lot of fans".
