The roster includes 2 newcomers: Le Van Dai and Ngan Van Dai, who will have to contend for playing time against more experienced players like Que Ngoc Hai and Nguyen Anh Duc. Now that Nguyen Tuan Anh has recovered from injury, Park will have his best players for the next two matches.

Vietnam’s squad also includes goalkeeper Dang Van Lam, defenders Bui Tien Dung, and Do Duy Manh, wingers Doan Van Hau and Nguyen Trong Hoang, center midfielder Do Hung Dung, left wing Quang Hai, and forwards Van Toan and Ha Minh Tuan.

Vietnam began training at the VFF youth training center in Hanoi on Monday. The roster will soon be pared down to 23 players.
