During its past term, the association established a number of centers of physical rehabilitation and vocational training for the victims and provided them with free medical check-ups and treatment. The association has also increased its activities to demand for justice for Vietnamese Agent Orange/Dioxin victims. Over the next 5 years, the association will continue to press the US government and chemical companies to take responsibility for the suffering of Vietnamese Agent Orange/Dioxin victims. Chairman of the association, Nguyen van Rinh, said: “Our central task is to call for the support of individuals and organizations at home and abroad for the victims. We will give them vocational training so they can feed themselves. We will also provide financial support to aid their families’ production.”

The association’s 3rd Congress will open next Monday.
