4th conference of Asian National Museum Association opens in Hanoi
(VOVworld) – The 4th conference of the Asian National Museum Association (ANMA) opened in Hanoi on Tuesday, drawing the participation of 13 museums from 13 countries. Topics for discussion will include developing the association’s fund, strengthening cooperation in human resource development among member countries and membership development. Director of the Vietnam National Museum of History, Nguyen Van Cuong, said: “ANMA member countries are all concerned about our activities. I believe that over the last 2 years, we have fulfilled our task of heritage preservation and our cooperation has been expanded to not only Asia but other continents.”
The National Museum of Laos was admitted to the association at the opening ceremony. Singapore will host the next conference in 2015.
