(VOVworld)- A workshop on consultation and reporting of the Ethnicity Council and National Assembly’s agencies has been held in Hai Phong city. The seminar is part of a cooperative project on strengthening the capacity of representative offices in Vietnam between the NA’s Office and the UNDP. Head of the National Assembly’s Office Nguyen Hanh Phuc said that improving the reporting process will help ease pressures on the NA’s Q&A sessions.  Phuc said the National Assembly’s Standing Committee is working on specific procedures for reporting at the Ethnicity Council and National Assembly’s agencies. Deputy Head of the NA’s Committee for Social affairs Nguyen Sy Loi said that reporting sessions create forums for discussing the law building issue comprehensively and transparently. Delegates at the workshop urged the Ethnicity Council and NA’s agencies to increase the number of reporting sessions and specify the procedures of public consultations in the Law on issuing legal documents.
