Management of river basin at national level piloted
(VOVWORLD) -The Vietnam Environment Administration has held a consultative workshop on Vietnamese component document regarding “Reducing Pollution and Preserving Environmental Flows in the East Asian Seas through the Implementation of Integrated River Basin Management in ASEAN Countries.”
The project is implemented in 7 ASEAN countries including Vietnam. Each country will have a pilot national project in selected river basin to collect best practices for duplication in other ASEAN river basins. The Vietnamese component has government, corporate and non-governmental organizations participation with strengthen women involvement in local and national levels.
