Netherlands hands Vietnam 33 historical documentaries
(VOVWORLD) -The Vietnam Film Institute has received from the Dutch Healthcare Authority and Joris Ivens Archives Institute 33 documentaries that foreign producers made in Vietnam in the 1960s and 1970s.

Worthy of note is one titled “Meeting with President Ho Chi Minh”, the last foreign film recording of President Ho Chi Minh.
Vu Nguyen Hung, Director of the Vietnam Film Institute, said: “During the fiercest periods of the anti-US war, foreign friends came to Vietnam to film our struggle for justice. The films showed the world different aspects of Vietnam’s struggle against an unjust war.”
The Joris Ivens Archives Institute also gave the Vietnam Film Institute 2,000 pages of documents and 140 photographs and banners collected by Dutch film producer Joris Ivens.
