Within Vietnam’s roadmap for the Convention ratification, the country issued the Law on the Disabled in 2010 and formulated legal documents for its implementation. As part of the government’s efforts to improve the living conditions of people with disabilities, the Prime Minister has approved a project to support the disabled in the period 2012-2020. The project will also affirm Vietnam’s commitment to following the Asia Pacific region’s 7 prioritized fields regarding the people with disability.
