Khanh Hoa province plans to organize several trade promotion programs with Japanese enterprises in Nha Trang next month. One of them will focus on Vietnam’s urban environment and the current investment climate in Khanh Hoa. The meeting will make an overall introduction of the province and Van Phong Economic Zone in particular, future investment attraction orientations, and incentives for Japanese companies.

Le Duc Vinh, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, said: “Japan is one of Vietnam’s strategic partners. For years, Khanh Hoa hasn’t appealed foreign investment. This year we will pay more attention to this issue. We’ll create the best conditions for sectors to make as good preparations as possible for the meetings with domestic and international investors.”

Dak Lak and the Australia-Vietnam Business Council have held an investment promotion workshop in Sydney to call for Australian investment in the province.

Both sides exchanged information about projects in coffee and pepper exports, education, transfer of technology, tourism, and real estate, which are considered their strength. Also high on the agenda were discussions on investment environment, preferential policies, and ways to connect the two business communities. After the workshop, some Australian companies have registered to have a fact-finding tour of Dak Lak province to know more about these projects and the investment environment.
