“I Love My Homeland Sea and Islands” contest reaches the final round
(VOVWORLD) - The High Command of the Navy Region 3, the Mass Mobilization Committee of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee, and the Ben Tre Municipal Party Committee and the People’s Committee have organized the final round of the contest “I Love My Homeland Sea and Island” for 100 students in the city.

The contestants answered questions about Vietnam’s seas and islands, the Vietnam People’s Army, the Coast Guard Force, the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), the Vietnam Law of the Sea, and the Vietnam Law on the Coast Guard.
Also included are Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated (IUU) prevention regulations and knowledge about local history, culture and geography. The contest is aimed at fostering patriotism and love for Vietnam’s sea and islands while strengthening the close bond between soldiers and the people.
