(VOVWORLD) - The High Command of the Navy Region 4 (Cam Ranh city, Khanh Hoa), has implemented several communications programs in Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, and Binh Thuan province.

It has disseminated information to nearly 1,800 fishermen about Vietnam’s Law of the Sea, presented 60 gift sets, 20 bicycles to fishermen in difficult circumstances, provided medical checkups to 440 fishermen, donated 400 life jackets, 300 life buoys, and 1,900 national flags, and distributed 2,000 leaflets to islanders.
The Navy Region 4 has sponsored 35 children in Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, and Binh Thuan and donated 3.3 tons of rice to social beneficiaries, and disadvantaged people.
According to Colonel Nguyen Huu Minh, Deputy Political Commissar of the Navy Region 4 High Command, the unit continues to promote and deploy communications activities, to help people reduce poverty, prevent, and overcome natural disasters while contributing to stabilizing and improving the material and spiritual life of local people.
