Vietjet launches air route connecting Phu Quoc and Taipei, China

(VOVWORLD) - Vietjet Air has launched its first flight to connect Phu Quoc in Kien Giang province with Taipei, Taiwan, China, in time for the peak tourist season when Asian tourists begin their Lunar New Year holiday.

Vietjet will use some of its most modern aircraft for the route with 7 round trips per week.

Phu Quoc, a famous seaside resort city of Vietnam, is a favorite of many domestic and international tourists. Some of its most popular landmarks include Hon Thom cable car, Sao Beach, and Phu Quoc Love Bridge.

Many airlines have recently launched new direct flights from major cities in Asia to Phu Quoc. Since late last year, 3 Korean airlines, including Korean Air, Jeju Air, and Jin Air, have launched direct flights from Seoul to Phu Quoc.
