(VOVWORLD) - The Nhuong Ban Whale Worshipping Festival, a national intangible cultural heritage, took place in Cam Nhuong commune in the central province of Ha Tinh on Friday.

The festival is said to have a history dating back to the 14th century.
Many cultural and sport activities such as tug of war, volleyball and rowing competitions were held this year, attracting a large number of locals and visitors as well.
