Art performance to support Vietnam women’s health

Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien spoke at the event: “The program to buy health insurance cards for near-poverty people, with women given priority, was launched by the Ministry of Health, which also linked donors and charitable activities. The Ministry raised donations for the “For a brighter future” fund, which provides assistance to poor cancer patients. Today’s event will fund activities that will, hopefully, receive an active response from localities and social organizations to realize Vietnam’s goal of achieving universal coverage of social health insurance.”

The program has raised 900,000 USD, which will enable 6 million disadvantaged Vietnamese women to obtain health insurance.
