Speaking at the signing ceremony in Hanoi on Friday, Lai Xuan Mon, Chairman of the VNFU, said this is one of important activities to concretise agricultural cooperative programs between the two countries and pave the way for their new and more effective cooperation. The agreement will not only help restructure Vietnam’s economy and boost rural socio-economic development, but also promote cultural exchanges, mutual understanding and friendship between Vietnamese and Japanese farmers. Both sides will pilot Japan’s model of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries in Vietnam.
