Vietnam fosters multi-faceted cooperation with Bulgaria

Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan told the visiting Vice President of Bulgaria, Margarita Popova, on Friday in Hanoi that Vietnam was pursuing a foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, openness, diversification and multileralization of external relations and active international integration, including developing relations with Bulgaria.

Bulgaria’s Vice President said her country wanted to develop Bulgarian-Vietnamese relations to a new level.

On the same day, the Chairman of Ho Chi Minh city’s People’s Committee, Le Hoang Quan, received a delegation from the Bulgarian government led by Tzvetan Dimitrov, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food. Mr. Quan said he hoped Ho Chi Minh city and Bulgarian localities would continue promoting cooperation in the future.
