March marks the arrival of spring sunshine and the blooming season of Bauhinia flowers across the mountains and forests of Son La in the Northwest region of Vietnam.
Along National Highway 6 and on the steep mountain cliffs, Bauhinia flowers are in full bloom.
Visitors are greeted by the Bauhinia blossoms along the main roads.
During the blooming season, the landscape is brimming with new vitality.
The pristine white Bauhinia flowers, tinged with a soft shade of purple, stand out vividly against the clear blue sky.
Crowds of locals and tourists capture beautiful moments of the Bauhinia season through photographs.
Young Thai ethnic women celebrate the blooming season by dressing in traditional "ao com" ( a white blouse with a heart-shaped collar) and "khan Pieu" (a special brocade head scarf), showcasing their cultural heritage.
In the Northwest, the Bauhinia flower is often compared to a Thai woman, characterized by purity, gentleness, and unwavering loyalty.
